Right now, I'm working on a new drabble story called Dreams. It will be posted on FFnet, TWCS, and Twilighted as soon as I can get a good sized backlog done. I'm working on it. I do have a banner made by the awesome vbfb1 that I can post, so you can see what kind of story to expect.

I decided to make a playlist of all the songs I'm using for each chapter of Torn. I even decided to add some songs from future chapters on there, so you can maybe get an idea of about where the story could be going.

After a lot of deliberation, I've decided to pull WU and HF from Fanfiction. I was not happy with the quality, and I would rather have stories available I'm happy with than not. I am still in the process of working on Torn, and the first chapter should be posted very, very soon.

If I ever have the inclination, I may go in and tear these stories apart and repost, but right now, I'm not making any promises, because with the quality right now, it will be a lot of work.

I'm going to be starting a new story soon. It's called Torn, and here is the summary for it: Bella needs to find a job and, with the recession, has a difficult time finding one until she comes across an executive assistant position at Cullen & Whitlock Publishing. Landing the guy is not as easy as landing the job. She has a difficult time dealing with her narcissistic and attractive boss, Edward, and the sweet and charming co-founder, Jasper.

This story is going to be my number one priority right now. I'm debating with myself about whether or not to pull Hopelessly Falling. I'm not really happy with the quality of it, and I also have lost interest in it. Waking Up will be continued but will go back on hiatus until I'm more comfortable with where Torn is. I know this might upset some of you, ... okay, maybe a lot of you ... but I really like the ideas I have for Torn. I also have an outline for this one, so it will be a lot more organized, and I won't be pulling things out of my ass like I was for both Waking Up and Hopelessly Falling.

I promised a teaser, so here it is:

I was looking at Rosalie’s and my kitchen table with different newspapers scattered across it. Each newspaper was open to the classified section where the jobs were listed. There were red circles all over the place. If you were looking at a birds-eye view of them, it probably would have looked like a cluster of red targets. Too bad none of those targets had actually led me to a job.

“Stupid recession. Why is it so hard to find a decent job that doesn’t involve fast food or stripping?” I had graduated with honors from UW with an English degree and found it impossible to find a job. I knew that an English degree was more of a supplemental degree, but at least it was better than nothing. What could I say? I had always loved books.

Rose chuckled at me. “Sweetie, I don’t think you could pull off a stripping job. You’re too much of a prude.”

I turned to look at her. “I’m offended. I am not a prude.”

“Okay, Miss I-haven’t-fucked-a-guy-in-two-years.”

So she might have been right about my not sleeping with anyone in two years, but it wasn’t my fault I hadn’t found a decent guy. I wasn’t going to just go start sleeping around with anyone, or anything, with a dick.

Bella walked down East 16^th Street until she saw the red overhang of the Union Square Café. Walking inside, she spotted her best friend and co-worker Alice, who worked with her at the New York Public Library, sitting at a table next to the window.

“Hi, sweetie! You look amazing as always.” Alice was always trying to get Bella to feel better about herself, but with what happened seven months ago, she didn’t feel the same as she used to.

Bella rolled her eyes. “Thanks, Alice.” She sat down across from her and took a sip of the water that was sitting there.

“Hey! That’s mine!” Alice grabbed the glass and held it against her chest as if it were her child that she was protecting.

“Well, you should have told the waiter that you were expecting someone, and then I wouldn’t have to drink from your glass.” Bella stuck her tongue out at Alice, and Alice gasped.

“I’m going to tell Angela on you!” Alice taunted, and Bella rolled her eyes yet again. Angela was Bella’s twin sister who was a few minutes older than her. Angela always rubbed that in her face and used it to her advantage. Of course, she loved her sister to death, and she was really close with her, but sometimes she could be a pain and knew how to push Bella’s buttons.

“Anyway, what have you been up to lately? I feel like I never see you at work.”

“Well, of course you don’t. You’re Miss I’m-my-own-boss-and-tell-people-what-to-do,” Alice said in a fake snooty voice.

“Oh, whatever. You never answered my question. What have you been up to lately?”

“Nothing much. Just hung out with Emmett and Rose last weekend. We went to that new club up on Varick. I think it’s called Greenfarm or Greenham. Maybe it’s Greenplant. I don’t know. It’s Green- something.”

“Greenhouse. It’s called Greenhouse. Was it nice? I’ve heard good things about it. Is it worth even taking my time to go to?”

There was a strange look that passed over Alice’s face quickly, but Bella caught it.

“What’s wrong, Alice?”

“Nothing. It’s just someone I saw at the nightclub. Actually, someone that’s working at the nightclub.”

“Who?” A million different options ran through Bella’s head, but she never anticipated the name that came out of Alice’s mouth.

“It was Edward. He’s working as a bartender there.”

So it's been awhile since I've posted on here, so I'll give a run down of everything that's been happening lately. First of all, I'm now a beta with Project Team Beta and Emergency Beta Services. These are great services, and I highly recommend them, not just because I'm a beta with both of them, but because they are extremely helpful and both have experienced and great teams behind them.

After submitting a one-shot for the Fandom for Preemies compilation, I've decided to also submit another one-shot to the Fandom for Sexual Assault Awareness compilation. Another thing that's been happening with me in the fandom is that I've recently become a Spotlight Interviewer for The Twilight Awards. Basically, I interview higher profile fandom authors about themselves and their stories. I have not posted my first interview as of yet, but I hope to have my first one posted in early to mid May.
